Legacy Hospitality has launched Hemley, a fast-casual health-focused concept in Downtown Pittsburgh. The 2,800-square-foot space on Fifth Avenue serves grain bowls, wraps, salads, and fresh juices with a focus on speed and nutrition. The menu items range from $11 to $16, and the average order time is five minutes. The concept is designed for working professionals who want healthy food without sacrificing time.
Fast-casual dining has evolved since the 2010s. The category that once meant "Chipotle" now includes concepts focused on health, sustainability, and quality ingredients. Hemley positions itself in that evolved landscape.
Health-Forward Fast Casual
Downtown workers have limited time for lunch. They want food that is good, fast, and not empty calories. Hemley is designed to be all three. The menu emphasizes whole grains, vegetables, lean proteins, and house-made dressings. Nothing comes out of a can.
"Fast casual doesn't mean frozen. It means efficient. We're proving you can do both."
Hemley Developer
The Fifth Avenue location puts Hemley in the center of Downtown's working district. Office workers, hospital staff, and university employees are all within walking distance. The concept is built for them.
Hemley opened in early March 2026 and has already established a regular lunch crowd.
