Tapville Social’s Strip District restaurant combines a self-pour beverage format with a full food menu, weekend brunch and group-event options. For visitors, two practical distinctions matter: the Pittsburgh location’s terms differ from general brand promotions, and a published item price is not necessarily the final bill.

This October 13, 2026 guide covers the established restaurant at 1447 Smallman Street. Pittsburgh Magazine included it in its January 5 dining roundup; that earlier coverage is background, not a new opening announcement. Current visit details come from the operator and its linked Pittsburgh menu. We have not personally reviewed the food or service.

Check the local hours and parking conditions

The Pittsburgh location page lists 412-968-7687 and hours of noon–10 p.m. Monday–Thursday, noon–midnight Friday, 10 a.m.–midnight Saturday and 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday.

Its parking offer applies Sunday–Thursday at the Vision Garage, 1378 Waterfront Place: up to two hours with at least $20 spent at Tapville. Bring the parking ticket and ask a team member to validate it during the visit. The offer does not say that every nearby garage, every day or every length of stay is free.

The patio is described as seasonal and dog-friendly. Confirm that it is operating for your intended visit, rather than assuming outdoor seating is available year-round. Our Tapville profile links the local information.

Compare shareable food with a full meal

The local menu page links a Pittsburgh PDF. Published examples include a loaded nacho tower at $18, pretzel bites with beer cheese at $12, a signature burger with a side at $18 and a fried chicken sandwich with a side at $17.

Steak frites is $32 and Cajun pasta with shrimp and sausage is $25. Additions have separate prices: several dishes offer steak for $9 more, shrimp for $8 or chicken for $6. Compare the selected plate and additions, not simply the lowest number beside its name.

The PDF’s brunch section says weekends before 3 p.m., with chicken and waffles at $16 and lemon ricotta pancakes at $15. It carries a spring-2026 menu code, so confirm the current selection. It also states a 3% surcharge, removable on request, and automatic 20% gratuity for parties of eight or more. Ask how these apply to the actual check.

For a budget, list the food subtotal, selected additions, beverages and applicable charges separately. The removable surcharge and group gratuity are different line items; ask staff whether an event quote includes either before comparing packages.

Use the appropriate route for a group

The local page separates food pickup from reservations. Choose the Pittsburgh restaurant when following either route, and check the selected collection time or table time before completing the arrangement.

The brand homepage describes beer and wine by the ounce alongside cocktail and coffee flights. Confirm the available selections, displayed unit prices and staff instructions at the Pittsburgh restaurant; a general description is not a fixed local beverage list.

The private-events page describes host-paid, guest-paid and preloaded pour-pass arrangements. Request the Pittsburgh-specific package and complete terms, including food, any minimum spend and service charges. An ordinary table reservation and a private-event enquiry serve different purposes; neither should be treated as confirmation of an unquoted group package.
