The Story
Matt and Jen Cox opened Eleventh Hour Brewing in 2015 in Lawrenceville with a philosophy of making great beer accessible to everyone. While some Pittsburgh breweries chase trends and hype, Eleventh Hour focuses on well-made, balanced beers that you can drink all afternoon.
The taproom is one of the coziest in Pittsburgh: small, warm, and full of regulars who treat it like a neighborhood living room. The rotating tap list covers everything from crisp lagers to robust porters, with a few experimental releases mixed in to keep things interesting.
Eleventh Hour has earned a loyal following by being consistently good and consistently welcoming, a combination that keeps people coming back.
What Makes It Pittsburgh
Eleventh Hour is the quintessential Pittsburgh neighborhood brewery. It is not trying to be the flashiest or the most experimental; it is trying to be the place you walk to on a Tuesday evening and always feel at home. That unpretentious approach to excellence is deeply Pittsburgh.
The Lawrenceville location puts it in the thick of the city's brewery corridor, but Eleventh Hour's charm is all its own.
