Dancing Gnome’s two Main Street addresses serve different visits. The larger 1025 Main taproom offers beer, a patio and cans to take home. The original 925 Main space now offers house-made cocktails alongside Dancing Gnome beer and a smaller food menu.
This October 13, 2026 guide compares the operator’s current location pages and policies. It is coverage of established Sharpsburg spaces, not a claim of a new opening today. Choosing the address first helps avoid arriving with the wrong expectations about seating, food, hours or age restrictions.
1. 1025 Main: the larger taproom and patio
The 1025 Main location page describes a production facility that opened in October 2021, with a spacious taproom, patio and four-packs to go. The listed address is 1025 Main Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15215.
Published hours are Monday–Thursday 4–10 p.m., Friday 2–10 p.m., Saturday noon–10 p.m. and Sunday noon–8 p.m. Use the location’s hours rather than assuming both Dancing Gnome addresses operate together.
The displayed beer list includes Lustra pale ale at 5.8 percent alcohol and Czech 10 pale lager at 3.7 percent. These are examples from the menu checked for this guide, not a promise that each will be available on a later visit. Check the current tap and take-home lists separately when a specific beer matters.
2. 925 Main: cocktails in the original space
The 925 Main page says the original space is back open with cocktails using Pennsylvania spirits, Dancing Gnome beer and a small Blue Sparrow food menu. It describes the original October 2016 brewery space as a former plumbing-supply showroom with 45 seats.
The address is 925 Main Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15215. The operator’s page has an hours discrepancy: its description says Wednesday–Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight, while its hours list includes Sunday too. Confirm Sunday operation directly before planning around it. The site lists 412-408-2083 as a company contact.
That unresolved Sunday detail should not obscure the more useful distinction: 925 is the smaller cocktail-room visit, while 1025 is the larger taproom-and-patio option. Decide which format fits the group before checking the specific day.
Food, ages and animals: check the rules for the selected room
The official FAQ identifies Blue Sparrow as the house food truck Tuesday–Saturday and says other trucks also visit. At 925, the food is a smaller in-house selection of sandwiches and snacks. Consult the actual day’s food schedule rather than assuming the same kitchen format at both addresses.
The FAQ permits guests under 21 at 1025 but describes it as an adult-focused environment. The 925 room is strictly 21 and over. Dogs are not permitted. These policies make the address especially important when arranging a group that includes children or pets.
Plan tastings, take-home purchases and larger gatherings separately
The operator says it does not offer flights or tasters, although smaller pours are available. It also says private tours and growler or crowler fills are not currently offered. A visit should not be planned around those services without a later confirmed policy change.
Private-event requests can concern either space, with arrangements handled separately. Our Dancing Gnome profile links the official locations and FAQ. For an ordinary visit, confirm the address, posted hours, food provider and applicable age policy together; for an event, request the actual availability and terms.
