Two businesses on Cranberry Township’s coming-soon list offer different additions to local shopping: Ebisu Life’s planned Japanese and Asian lifestyle store, and Saba Origin Coffee’s announced café. Neither is presented here as already serving customers in Cranberry.
This October 13, 2026 update selects these two plans because the township identifies their proposed addresses and additional company information or dated reporting explains what customers can expect. Ebisu leads the update because its reported expansion includes a defined store size and an existing Pittsburgh shop. This is an editorial selection, not a ranking or a complete list of township projects.
1. Ebisu Life plans a larger store on Route 19
Pittsburgh Magazine’s October 7 report, by Charlotte Shields-Rossi, describes a planned 7,000-square-foot Ebisu Life at 20217 Route 19, Suite 203, in the former Party City storefront. It reports a year-end target based on the company’s announcement, with no exact opening date determined.
The report says the store will be nearly twice the size of its Squirrel Hill counterpart. Planned merchandise includes Asian snacks, beauty products, household items, stationery, anime goods, toys and collectibles. It also describes a claw machine and gashapon collectible-toy vending machine. These are announced features, not a report from a completed-store visit.
Cranberry Township’s October 13 coming-soon list independently identifies the same Route 19 suite for Ebisu Life. Its listing confirms the township is tracking the proposed tenant; it does not supply a public shopping schedule or establish that construction and stocking are finished.
For shoppers seeking the existing Pittsburgh store, the brand’s official locator lists Ebisu Pittsburgh at 5846 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. That is the Squirrel Hill address, not the Cranberry project. Check the local operator’s current information for hours and particular products rather than applying an anticipated Cranberry assortment to today’s shelves.
2. Saba Origin Coffee lists Cranberry for fall 2026
The township identifies Saba Origin Coffee Shop at 20480 Route 19, Suite 108. The company’s own location page describes Cranberry Township as coming in fall 2026. It separately lists Mt. Lebanon and Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood for winter 2026, without providing an exact opening day for those Pennsylvania projects.
The open café on that locator is Jacksonville, North Carolina. Its hours, phone and street address should not be used for the planned Pittsburgh-area cafés. A chain-wide ordering link is also insufficient evidence that Cranberry pickup orders are being accepted.
Saba’s published brand menu offers a preview of its drink formats, including Yemeni coffees served individually or in shared kettles. San’ani is described as medium-roast coffee with cardamom; Mufawar adds cream. Espresso options include a cardamom, ginger and cinnamon Saba Latte, plus pistachio and cookie-butter lattes.
The menu also lists chai, blended frappes, tea, refreshers and children’s drinks. Whole, two-percent, almond and oat milk appear as customization options, alongside an allergy notice covering milk, soy, nuts and gluten. Those options do not establish an allergen-free preparation. The brand menu does not confirm Cranberry prices or opening-day availability.
What to check before making a trip
For both projects, wait for a local operator’s confirmed opening announcement and hours before planning a visit. These addresses identify announced destinations, not guaranteed service today. Our Ebisu Cranberry profile links the township source and this shared update; future changes will be added to this coverage rather than turned into competing opening previews.
