Indoor pickleball can mean rotating into games with other players or reserving a court for your own group. The Pickleball Warehouse in Pittsburgh and LevelUp Pickleball Club in Canonsburg publish different ways to arrange those visits, with entry charges and booking rules worth checking before choosing.

This October 13, 2026 comparison selects two established facilities for their documented play formats. The Pickleball Warehouse is our lead editorial selection for its explicit rotation system and distinction between entry and private-court charges. This is not an independent award, a personal court test or a guarantee that other players will be available whenever you arrive.

1. The Pickleball Warehouse: open play or a separately reserved court

The official homepage lists 6815 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208, and 412-345-8905. Non-member daily drop-in is listed at $12. The operator also advertises memberships with unlimited open play, but a first visit need not be treated as a commitment to a monthly plan.

Its FAQ says seventeen of nineteen courts primarily operate as open play. Players use paddle racks to enter the queue; the losing team leaves after a game, and players may remain for no more than two consecutive games before returning to the rotation. A private group on an open court must rotate others in when people are waiting.

Two courts are set aside for private reservations. The FAQ lists $24 per hour for members, plus $12 entry for each non-member in the group; non-member bookings are $40 per hour plus $12 entry for every player. Confirm the total for the actual group rather than comparing only the hourly headline.

The FAQ says non-members can reserve one week ahead, members a month ahead, and reservations are capped at two hours. It also says payment is credit-card-only. Check current hours and the intended session before traveling. Our Warehouse profile links the official information.

2. LevelUp: compare the visitor and booking terms directly

LevelUp’s membership page lists 33 Mayview Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317, and 412-206-5755, with hours of 7 a.m.–10 p.m. daily. It publishes non-member drop-in at $20 per visit and court rentals at $25 per hour Monday through Thursday or $35 Friday through Sunday.

However, the FAQ describes private courts at $25 in non-prime times and $40 in prime times. It also describes advance-booking windows differently from the membership page. Those are conflicting published terms, not confirmed options customers can freely choose between. Ask the club which schedule applies to the intended booking.

The membership page also explains a $10 visitor-pass charge per session, included for the booking guest in certain online bookings while additional guests pay upon arrival. Confirm how that rule interacts with the selected drop-in or court reservation, especially for a group.

Choose the play format before comparing prices

Ask whether you want games with rotating opponents, a private foursome or beginner instruction, then confirm the relevant booking and entry total. Membership fees, hourly rental and per-person admission describe different costs. A confirmed session and its applicable rules are more useful than assuming the cheapest displayed figure covers everyone.
